We are going to lend out e‑biks again !

Try one. A week. It’s free.

Try an e‑bike for free for one full week! Reservations can be made now.

After last year’s success, we will once more kick off the free e‑bike try-out weeks on May 17. Experience how much you will enjoy travelling to work on an electric bike. Were you in doubt last year whether or not to try an e‑bike, or were you too late to make reservations? Stop hesitating and make a reservation for your e‑bike now.

Do you regularly travel to work by car? Do you alternate between working at home and on campus? Do you often use your car for this journey? Could this journey also be done on an ebike? Then try out an ebike. You can easily try it out now for free for a week. Reserve your ebike online and pick it up at the Forum on campus.
Even if you leave the car parked more often, but not using it you can save considerable costs. It is also good for your health and the environment. An ebike can easily cover a distance of 10 — 15 kilometres. Even if you work from home, you may often sit in front of your screen for hours. By getting on your ebike in between for a ride around the block or an errand, you keep moving and clear your head.

E‑bike advantages:

  • It’s good for your body.
  • It’s good for your mind.
  • No sweat (literally) — the pedal assistance makes biking less strenuous.
  • Using an e‑bike is cheaper than driving.
  • An e‑bike is suited for longer distances than a regular bike.

How does it work?

  1. Sign up via the reservation form and fill in your details.
  2. Choose a period.
  3. You can choose from different e‑bikes.
  4. Some information is needed such as name, address and place of residence.
  5. You will receive a confirmation email with additional information!
  6. The bike will be ready for you at the Forum on campus for the agreed period.
  7. Start cycling!

We wish you a lot of cycling fun!

Good to know

The ebike is available from Wednesday to Tuesday. In this way you can try the e‑bike also in the weekend. You can pick up and return the ebike at the Forum on campus, at the NRG Service Desk. You can try an ebike once during the promotional period from Wednesday May 17 up to and including Tuesday 11.. The e‑bike trial campaign is only accessible to employees who work on the Energy & Health Campus.
