Working on campus. Future-proof and safely reachable.
Hundreds of employees and visitors travel to the campus every day. Even in times of corona, more than 40% of employees travel to and from work on campus. Together they form the campus. The Energy & Health Campus wants to facilitate employees and visitors of the campus in their transport needs.
In the Mobility and Accessibility vision, the board of the EHC has set itself the goal of ‘an attractive and accessible campus where employees, students and companies can come and want to stay’.

The campus is used heavily and this is likely to increase in the coming years. As a result, it is likely to become increasingly crowded and campus, on the routes to the campus sites, there will be more demand for parking spaces and CO2 emissions will increase. This puts pressure on the accessibility and quality of life on our campus. We want a campus that is easily accessible and safe, both now and in the future. Where limited space is used in a smart way and where sustainable transport is encouraged.
Our ambitions include:
- Decrease in the share of car mobility.
- A CO2 neutral campus in the future.
- Smarter use of the scarce space on campus.
- To achieve this, the EHC has put together a package of measures together with various organisations. While public transport users, cyclists and pedestrians are paramount, the campus remains open to motorists.
