Carpool together for charity supported by the Campus

Have you ever consi­dered sharing a car with others who work on campus? Collea­gues who, like you, do not drive everyday by car. Via the Toogethr Rideshare app you can make rides safely, simply and quickly with others campus collea­gues. The more people use the Rideshare-app, the bigger your chance of carpool rides that fits your working hours.

Many people on campus go to work by bike. For those employees for whom cycling is not always possible, or even not an option at all, we offer another fun way to travel to work: ride together! Carpoo­ling is not only fun and easier than you think, it is also good for the environ­ment and for your wallet.

Carpool benefits:

• Enlarge your network and get to know your campus colleagues.
• Useful and flexible: the app matches you with EHC colleague. You plan each ride separa­tely. So, you don’t neces­sa­rily have to drive back and forth with the same colleague.
• You can save on your trave­ling expenses.

• It’s sociable: have a chat or a work meeting during your journey.

Moreover, you will also be rewarded for your carpoo­ling. The kilome­ters you drive together with points, you can donate to one of these chari­ties supported by the Campus: 

• ‘t Praet­huys, Alkmaar. A walk-in center for people dealing with cancer. 
• Youth Fund Sport and Culture region of North Holland. Pays the tuition for children and
  young people from families where there is not enough money for a sports club, music or
 dance class, painting or theater school.
• Rescue Brigade Sint Maartenszee, Petten. This coastal brigade ensures the surveil­lance of the
  beach with the aim of fighting the death of drowning. 
• Giro 555 Together in action for Ukraine. 

How it works: Carpool app Toogethr

• Download the Toogethr Rideshare app. The app ‘Toogethr Rideshare’ is free to use.
• Use your work email address to register in the app. This way the app can match you with collea­gues from the Energy & Health Campus.
• Soon you can register in the app.
• You plan rides together for each ride, so a ride there and a ride back. So you don’t neces­sa­rily have to drive back and forth with the same colleague.

The more people on campus will use the Toogethr App, the better chance you have of driving to work together.

The company Toogethr handles your data with care. Toogethr is very aware that it works with sensi­tive data which is why privacy and protec­tion of user data has the highest priority. All possible steps are taken to ensure protec­tion of user data and all systems and infra­struc­ture are securely organized.
