’Under­stan­ding the world of the deaf and hard of hearing’ 

Hutten is opening a new Sign Language Coffee Bar in the Forum.

This Sign Language Coffee Bar employs people who are deaf or hard of hearing. To intro­duce you to them, Hutten would like to invite you to an inter­ac­tive workshop.

What is the workshop about?

• What is deafness and hearing impairment?
• What is it like to be deaf or hard of hearing (experien­tial test)?
• How do you commu­ni­cate with someone who is deaf or hard of hearing?
• How do you work with a (better) hearing colleague?
• How do you spell your own name, how do you count, and what are gestures you can use in the workplace?

Stop by at one of these times:
1. Tuesday, January 21, 10 a.m. — 11.30 a.m.
2. Tuesday, January 21, 2 p.m. — 3.30 p.m.
3. Thursday, January 23 10 a.m. — 11.30 a.m.
